My name is Dallas Westergren, I began my fitness journey at Minnesota State University of Mankato. I knew I wanted to help people accomplish their goals and help them improve their lives through fitness which is why I decided to complete my degree in Exercise Science. I played multiple sports in high school such as baseball, basketball, and football. In the summer of 2016, I interned at Acceleration where I worked with a variety of different athletes. After working at Acceleration I had another internship at St. Claire High School where I worked with the football and volleyball teams correcting exercise techniques. After completing both internships I focused on getting my CSCS certification and after 6 months of studying I accomplished my goal. Beginning May 2018, I was hired on to train and coach at Higher Power Training.

Training for sports performance has always been a passion for Austin. Austin’s sports performance journey began when he injured a shoulder playing high school football. This led to copious amounts of physical therapy and rehabilitation. During the rehabilitation phase of his shoulder injury, Austin found his true passion to help others reach their sports performance goals as well as rehabilitate athletes or anyone with an injury who wants to get back to full function. This has led him down the path of exercise science and he is currently in the process of gaining entry into Physical Therapy school. Austin is injury prevention minded due to his background and takes care to ensure his clients use proper form throughout his killer workouts. Austin has experience working with older folks dealing with chronic pain and injuries, college athletes, high school and middle school athletes. He is knowledgeable and prepared to help anyone reach their fitness goals.

Dr. James first began personal training in 2000. He trained clients in a variety of gym and in-home settings until 2008 when he decided to further his education by attending chiropractic school. He was beginning to realize as his training career progressed that nearly every client that walked in the door had some sort of acute or chronic musculoskeletal issue that was affecting their ability to train pain-free. He felt that by adding the chiropractic skill set to his professional “toolbox” that he would be better able to serve his clients.
Since completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2011, Dr. James has had the privilege of working with active individuals of all ages and skill levels. He loves the process of assessing a client that is currently experiencing pain or recovering from injury and creating and executing a training and treatment plan that allows them to overcome that injury, train pain-free, and perform at their best.
