I had a total hip replacement. Jason and his team coached me in my rehab and recovery. While the work was hard the process was quick and I was able to recover very quickly. I used crutches for 2 week and a cane for another 3. After that I could walk unassisted.

The process started out 4 days after the surgery with simple range of motion and flexibility exercises for the legs. From there Jason would add additional exercises as they could be tolerated. Other muscle groups we ramped up quickly so I was able to see improvement in my chest, back and arms. By late September I was able to strength train my legs at the same level as the other muscle groups.

In late October I took up martial arts with one of Jason’s trainers to regain my balance and stamina. That, coupled with Jason’s resistance training, got me in the best shape of my life. At 46 I am in better shape than I was at 26! I am now training martial arts 3 times a week and resistance training 3 times a week. The stability of my artificial hip is now as good, (if not slightly better), than my real hip.
